Some time ago, we performed a paint correction on a black Subaru BRZ. Now it was time time for its twin, a black Toyota 86. Black is the hardest colour to work with, with every single swirl and scratch visible under any light, so it's important to get the paint as smooth as possible before the Opti-Coat application. However once the car is corrected and Opti-Coat is applied, there is nothing quite as glossy or 'wet' looking as a freshly corrected black car. Enjoy the photos.
The car as presented. Needed a wash, and the car lacked any real gloss or depth, the hallmarks of a black car:

The car was full of scratches:
Luckily the paint on these cars is quite soft, so a short while later we had a flawless finish:

And the end result is a beautiful, glossy, wet looking car:
Unfortunately, when the client came to pick up the car the following day, it was raining. However this was a perfect opportunity to show off Opti-Coat's amazing ability to bead water:
