Mini Detail of a Megane RS

I was asked to quickly prepare this car for an upcoming photo and videoshoot. The Megane RS is a brilliant little car, and this colour is absolutely amazing. The owner had had the roof, door handles, mirrors and badges wrapped in vinyl for an aggressive look, and I was asked to make the car look as good as possible in a short amount of time.

I settled on using Optimum GPS to bring up the gloss, remove minor swirls, and provide a glaze, as well as acting as a brilliant sealant. To provide better protection and enhance the shine further, the car was topped with Optimum Opti-Seal - a sort of Opti-Coat 'for babies' if you will. It ended up looking brilliant, especially in the sun light as it glimmered in all its golden glory.

Hard to see, but there was absolutely no beading of water, meaning no protection on the paint!

The car had lots of black grime build up in crevices - they really stood out on a car of this colour, and had to be removed with a cotton bud.

The carbon spoiler was polished and had Opti-Coat applied for lifetime protection. Check out that weave!
